The journey into darkness
Begins as an innocent lie,
Spoken from the mouth of a child.
There are ups and downs in life
And we chose what defines who we are,
The fight for what is right,
Or the ease and comfort of the night.
The
struggle is long and hard,
Sometimes temptation wins,
Then the fall, deep and nowhere near the sun.
This
is our moment,
Revel in the darkness and go deeper in the night,
Or claw; inch by inch
And make our way towards the light.
Each of us must chose,
Forget about God, family and friends,
Look up and face yourself.
