You're Black

You can’t do this you’re not smart enough
You can’t do that you’re not pretty enough
You can’t do anything except play ball and have babies
You’re black...

I can do this and I can do that
You can’t say that to me, just because I’m black
Just because I’m black
Do you think all I can do is steal?
Just because I’m black
Do you think all I can do is kill?
Just because I’m black
Do you think all I can do is play b-ball, run track, get pregnant is that all?
I can do more than just these things,
I am a preacher, lawyer, doctor, judge, and inventor of things
You will never stand in my way,
I have made it and will keep making it every day
Because I’m all that
Just because I’m black!
